This was a beautiful property with amazing staff.
The condo was as described - bed was super comfy - beautiful kitchen - tons of extras on hand if you forget anything!!. We had a fabulous 14 days of relaxation! The waves were gigantic while we were there.... just breathtaking.

The condo was very nice, clean and quiet. The owner was very communicative and made for a very smooth booking and check-in. The only downside was the sleeping arrangements. I would say it sleeps 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. We had 4 in the condo, two adults and 2 teenagers (14 &16). Not ideal sleeping arrangements for them. One ended up sleeping on the floor for most of it.
The condo is between San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. A lot to do and see! Definitely need a car, and driving is pretty easy on that area. Amazing food, beautiful beach!! Overall, very relaxing 😎�🌴�

We LOVED staying at Casey's place. The location is perfect for relaxation (though you do need a car - plenty of easy parking!) and close to two great snorkeling beaches. It was SUPER clean and stocked with plenty of essentials from sun block, towels and snorkeling gear to condiments and cooking supplies. I love the layout of unit - great feng shui! Our favorite was lounging on the balcony at night and listening to the waves.

Everything exceeded expectations, from start to finish. We rented a car from CACTUS Rent-a-car and everything went very smoothly w/ no surprises. The El Comer supermarket indeed has everything you can think of. One-stop-shop for sure. The condo is in a great location (if you rent a car) and we felt like we had the best of both worlds being close to both San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.
Check-in was very simple at the front entrance and the place was IMMACULATE. Beautifully remodeled and decorated with fully-stocked cabinets as well as a full-stocked "junk" drawer. I'm talking spray/lotion sunscreen, hairspray, body wash, USB chargers, etc. There was even some alcohol that someone was nice enough to save for us. The coffee maker works well and you will feel right at home in the condo -- most comfortable sheets we have slept on in recent memory.
It's also got what you need to enjoy the beach. The Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas are a match made in heaven. We used the chairs + umbrella, snorkeling gear, and insulated cooler bag every day and LOVED it. The resort is also beautiful, but we spent most of our time away on the various beaches. We especially loved Playa Chileno and Playa Santa Maria - both were great for snorkeling. Don't bother booking a snorkeling trip because they take you to those beaches anyways! :) Just drive up, park for free and enjoy your casual beach day + free snorkeling.
We celebrated our 10-yr wedding anniversary at Sunset Monalisa and OMG!!! It was the most romanticly breathtaking spot I have ever set foot. Other good eats included Taqueria Rossi in San Jose del Cabo (inexpensive $) and Serrano Wine Seafood and Grill in Cabo San Lucas (moderately priced $$). Of course, you are also all set in the condo if you prefer to cook there. It has everything you need and all updated appliances.
Lastly, Casey was a joy to work with. Very clear and very responsive to questions. We loved, loved, loved our stay.

Location is great, the place is calm and not crowded and the pool was just for us during our whole week.
You can’t swim on that part of the sea, but the beach is beautiful.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here with our 9 month old daughter for 4 nights. We have stayed in many VRBOs near Cabo, but this one is by far the best one we've stayed at. We were away from the chaotic party scene and pushy sales people of Cabo San Lucas, and we were left to just breathe and relax in this peaceful retreat. We enjoyed the view of the Sea of Cortez while ate our home cooked meals from the well stocked kitchen. We spent our days by the pool drinking cocktails and reading good books. We also spent one day at the swimmable beach that was a 10 minute walk away. The condo has everything one needs to enjoy the beach; umbrellas, chairs, towels, and more. The condo itself has AC but we chose not to turn it on. We stayed nice and cool with the sliding glass door left open with the ceiling fans on, and could even hear the gentle waves crashing at night. Our baby slept really well in the pack-n-play that was provided.
This place has a nice pool with a restaurant and a swim-up bar which we also enjoyed. With the proximity to restaurants, grocery store, and a swimmable beach...we would definitely stay here again.

Me and my husband had the chance to stay at Casey's place in April 2019. We're very familiar with Cabo—we visit at least once or twice a year!
This is the first time we've stayed at Casa del Mar. Casey's condo was in the perfect location, steps away from the beach, CLEAN, provided modern amenities and conveniences and was a great "home base" for days at the pool/beach and nights exploring the town.
The check in process was a breeze, the staff was friendly. The condo was stocked with everything you need from shampoo to pool towels and an in-unit washer/dryer. Not to mention, it was wonderful being able to cook and enjoy breakfast and sometimes lunch in the beautiful kitchen!
Definitely rent a car if you plan to stay here. It makes for an easy and convenient trip and enables you to go wherever you'd like whenever you'd like without having to call a taxi and spend close to $50-100 round trip.
We'll definitely plan on staying with Casey again!

I just want to say Casey’s place is the best!!! I’ve stayed in several HomeAways and never actually wrote a review. There’s no way I could not write one for trip. So for starters the condo is located in such a peaceful gated community. Anything I needed was available to me it’s like she read my mind and had everything you could think of which took a load off the traveling stress. My two children loved going to the pools and shed a couple of tears when we had to leave. I could go on and on about all the reasons you should stay here. Casey Thank You for sharing your home with us and making this Spring Break trip one we will remember FOREVER!!

Casey was great to work with and is totally a class act. easy to rent from. this condo is a hidden gem. Very nice remodel with everything you need for your stay. If my travels are to the Cabo area again I would definitely rent this one again. If I was to complain about one thing it would be a little traffic noise during day, when u are outside, but I really dont think many places down there are without that. this place is well worth the $$ for someone who doesnt want a ton of other people all around. Grounds staffing was also excellent.

We spent 9 amazing days in Cabo, the initial 4 of which were at Casey's place at Casa del Mar. There truly is no such thing as a "bad day" in Cabo. The condo and resort are absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Being able to access the hotel pool and restaurants was an added bonus, but the kitchen in the condo is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. I would highly recommend the Art Walk in the old part of San Jose on Thursday nights. We ventured out and were not disappointed! One other item to note, the ocean lagoon which is about a 10 minutes walk from the beach in front of Casa del Mar, is a great place to snorkel in relative safety. I would definitely recommend wearing tennis shoes for the walk to the lagoon as the beach is very gravelly in parts and was quite painful to travel across. Other parts of the beach are fine sand and feel wonderful, but watch out for the rocky sections! Over-all, I wish we had spent the entire 9 days at this location, rather than moving to another resort to be with my company. Casey's place far trumped the 5-star resort in the hotel zone and we will hopefully be returning soon!

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our vacation and loved Casey's condo. She was very organized and communicated well prior to our arrival. The condo itself is beautiful... and the balcony with the pool and ocean view was great. Loved her recommendations and info in advance. We took full advantage of the beach chairs, umbrella and snorkel gear. We also took Casey's advice and loaded up on groceries the day we arrived which definitely helped save money. The property itself was also very nice... quiet and well-kept with nice pools. Overall, staying at Casey's was amazing and I totally recommend staying at her condo if you're considering! Hoping to make a trip back in the future for longer.

We are from Colorado so try to go somewhere beachy in the winter. This was our first time in Cabo and loved it. Casey's place was a huge part of why it was such a great vacation for us. The main pool and grounds were fabulous and we really appreciated the location. It was far enough away from the chaos/party scene of Cabo San Lucas but an easy 2 min walk to a gorgeous beach. The condo was exactly as described! We loved sitting on the balcony with a drink watching the surf and whales (they have really nice binoculars that enabled us to see the whales). Nice, BIG comfy bed and all amenities you need. We will likely return.

We stayed for 8 wonderful nights in January, and while our expectations were high they were all exceeded. The location was perfect for what we had in mind: quiet, clean, well-situated for sightseeing. We had a vehicle, and we would strongly recommend this to any visitors so that you can easily travel to the many interesting towns, excursions and beaches nearby.
We have been to many VRBO properties before, and Casey's condo was the most well-stocked we have ever visited. This makes it so much easier to get a vacation started with so little hassle. Spices, towels, snorkel gear, toiletries, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, books, etc etc etc. Once stop at the Comer grocery store (in Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo) and we were good to go!
I would also add (as previous reviewers have) that dealing with Casey was a real pleasure. We will be back, and have already recommended this place to friends and family.

Spent our anniversary at Caseys's place in Casa Del Mar. The villa is very nice and had all we needed to spend our time in Cabo. Very nice location to go beach combing and we spent a lot of our time at the hotel pool. The staff was extremely friendly and we were able to enjoy all the hotel amenities. Had FUN!

This was a great place for my wife and I to vacation to! The accommodations were clean and the location was awesome. It was nice to return to the quiet and gorgeous surroundings after a day out. The beach is a short walk out the front door, and it was nice to hear the surf all night as you fall asleep. If you are looking for a place to relax, and get away from it all, this is the place! I would highly recommend this location to anyone heading to Cabo.

Casey has a wonderful property. The unit and the resort are beautiful. Easy access to great food in San Jose and far from the chaos and kitsch of Cabo San Lucas. You can walk down to a beautiful beach or enjoy one of five wonderful pools. Casey was also incredibly responsive. When we faced the possibility of delays due to an impending hurricane Casey was great! Also we needed a crib for our son, and Casey came through. Next time we go to Cabo, we will definitely check with Casey first.

Wow! Is the first thing I can say! Casey, you are an excellent host. Thanks for lending us your home. Everything described in the write up is exactly as it is stated. Beautiful views, beautiful home, very clean house, just like going to my my own home away from home. We really enjoyed everything about the property and the condo. Where this condo is located is the cleanest grounds i have ever seen. Staff is extremely friendly and will help you with anything. We stayed in the middle of July for 7 days and being that it the "down season" we had a blast and was withing a 10-12 minute drive to where ever we wanted to go. We enjoyed the very peaceful quietness of this lovely gated community for half of the time, and partied in downtown cabo the other half. Exactly what i was looking for to get away and leave my work at home. Oh yes and both pools are excellent with the swim up bar and the ocean/beach is 1 minute walk from condo. Thanks again!!!! We will be back!!! My parents will actually be contacting you to stay there soon. :) Jon

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in early July. We absolutely loved it! The apartment was perfect. Beautifully kept and had everything we needed we felt at home immediately. It was lovely using the hotel pool and we'd often eat lunch there too. So nice just lazing around, reading in the sun and swimming. I honestly wouldn't look any further if you're looking for a quiet getaway to just forget the world.
